Unifaced square stamped 20th century restuarant token.
At the centre is a 1D (1 penny) value mark with the inscription arranged in a circle above and below: Above CADBURY'S Below DINING ROOM. around the edge of the token is a border of pellets. The reverse is plain and undecorated. The token is a mid green colour with a corroded patina. It is likely that the token dates to the period 1900-1960.
It measures 25.7mm length and width, is 1.8mm thick and weighs 5.74 grams

A small rectangular gun flint probably from a small handgun / firearm / pocket pistol of post medieval - modern date (1700-1850 AD). The flint is sub-square in plan and trapezoidal in profile and section. The flint is a light mottled grey colour. The dorsal face has been knapped / worked on all four sides; this work consists of creating sloping edges to give it a trapezoidal side view. A cast copper alloy 'fob' seal of late Georgian or Victorian date (1750-1850). The seal is formed with a rectangular glass intaglio, rectangular machine pressed body with an applied small suspension loop. It is likely that the body of the setting is hollow and it is decorated with a machine pressed geometric design which has been silvered / tinned. Cast copper alloy military tunic / cuff button made by Mill's Co. of London. The reverse face is concave and corroded - the loop is lost. Cast around the external edge is MILL'S & CO // LONDON. The front is domed and depicts a cypher of three letters surmounted by a double arched crown. The three letters are indistinct - they could be either LLA standing for the Loyal Ludlow Company or SLA: Shrewsbury Loyal Association. A brass pub token with a value of 1 1/2 D (one and a half pence) issued by the Leopard Inn, Pride Hill, Shrewsbury. The Leopard Inn (situated at 3 Pride Hill) was licensed by William Bury in 1828 (although this is the date of the list not necessarily the establishment) and de-licensed in 1889.

A white metal aluminium teaspoon dated 1938. The spoon was discovered in two parts found within the same hole and a modern break is present across the junction between the bowl and stem. It is a grey white colour with a powdery surface patina. The upper face top of the stem is marked with the emblem of the Luftwaffe (an eagle gripping the swastika) The reverse face is inscribed - possibly stamped - Fl. U. An incomplete composite hollow button cast in white metal / high tin content or possibly base silver alloy of later 17th or 18th century date. Only the domed front hemisphere is present - it is circular in plan and D shaped in cross section; the reverse is hollow and concave. A cast and pressed silver 'coin' brooch date 1836 based on a half-crown design. The brooch comprises a solid silver frame with eight rectangular raised panels on the front face and small circular knops on the edge. Within the frame is a machine pressed silver disc depicting the draped royal arms surmounted by a crown with ANNO 1836 beneath. The ground around the shield is keyed and the remains of black enamel / niello is present in areas of the shield.
