Ring A - Smaller copper-alloy ring:
A copper alloy ring weighing 0.87g. This circular ring has an external diameter of 19.4mm with a sub-D shaped cross-section the convex surfaces being flatter on the inner side of the loop. The band has a width of 2.1mm and thickness of 1.5mm. The band appears as a single continuous loop with no evidence of a join. No evidence of decoration or maker's marks are present on the inner or outer surface. Date and function are uncertain.

A copper-alloy ring of uncertain purpose. This ring might be a finger-ring or alternatively a decorative ferrule from an umbrella, walking stick or riding crop. This artefact is of late 18th to 20th century in date.
Weight is 1.69g, diameter is 20.38mm, width of band is 3.52mm and thickness of band is 1.39mm. The band is circular in plan and has a 'D' shaped cross-section. The soldered join in the band is well formed and can only be seen if the artefact is being looked at carefully.
