A white metal seal matrix that seems to be complete having no obvious breaks. This artefact weighs 3.25g. The body of the seal matrix is circular with a diameter of 13.3mm and rectangular cross-section of 2.1mm thickness. This part of the matrix appears flat however a slight curve, more noticeable on the reverse, is present which allows the artefact to balance stably on a finger-tip. A thimble made of a white metal alloy probably Aluminium or tin. The thimble has no magnetic attraction. The thimble was probably originally circular in cross-section, tapering towards the flattish domed top, but is now sub-square having been squashed and dented on the top and sides. At the open end the thimble measures 14.4mm x 13.5mm and then tapers to 8.6mm x 9.5mm at the top. The thimble has a height of 17.6mm. A fragment of a white metal unidentified incomplete object of post-1912 date. This artefact has been looked at by National Finds Advisor Helen Geake & Judy Rudoe, Curator of the Modern Collections at the Department of Prehistory & Europe, British Museum but it has not been possible to determine what this fragment was a part of. This fragment is made of sheet white metal which has been curved to form a cylinder, the ends of which now overlap. A white metal thimble of modern date, post 1712. The thimble has been squashed in half and is covered with evenly spaced and sized pimples over the sides and top with a plain border at the rim of 2.89mm height. The top of the squashed thimble is now oval in shape and measures 12.90mm x 9.50mm. The base of the now oval thimble measures 22.70mm x 6.37mm. The plain rim has a thickness of 1.03mm and has been punch with five symbols.
