Cast plano-convex uniform button front bearing a Crown Imperial above a bugle with the number 20 between these features, and with a now-crescentic basal legend which probably extended round the button retaining the letters [--]TEERS [--]. This would seem to be the relict of the word Volunteers. There is no trace of a loop or its loss on a featureless smooth back. A modern cast iron object in the form of Tattershall castle. It is concavo-convex with the decorated side probably depicting Tattershall castle. The reverse has a rectangular cross-section lug with an iron circular cross-sectioned loop probably one of a series of loops forming a chain. A copper alloy arm from a Victorian or Edwarian "skirt lifter" comprising a curved rod, of circular cross section, which terminates in a 5.73 mm wide bowl at one end and a asymmetrically flattened terminal at the other, which is broken across the site of a rounded hole of diameter 2.92 mm. A modern copper alloy 10 Reis coin from Brazil (under Portuguese rule), dating circa AD 1830 - 1835.  It is probable that this was a 20 Reis coin that has been counter-stamped with a 10 during the devaluation of the coinage in 1835. The obverse is heavily worn, only the counter-stamped number 10 is visible. The reverse shows boughs flanking crowned arms of Brazil. [IN HOC SIGN]O VINCES surrounding. Diameter 30 mm, thickness 0.75 mm and weight 3.56 g.
