A retouched flint flake on a secondary blade-like flake. The flint is dark brown and semi-translucent with approximately 40% cortex remaining on its dorsal surface. The bulb and platform appear to be missing due to a break at the proximal end however lines of percussion remain. The soft-hammer retouch is restricted to a 17mm length along the left dorsal lateral. It is fine and well executed. This informal tool likely dates from the late Mesolithic to Neolithic period, c. 6500-2100 BC.
