Mesolithic (Early) to Neolithic (Later) unretouched blade, 42mm long, 20mm wide, 8mm thick and 7g in weight. Made on a flint that has turned completely light grey and opaque through patination. The dorsal face possesses a parallel ridge created by unidirectioanl flaking. The flint/chert is of poor quality evidenced by the butt shattering upon striking.

Mesolithic (Early) to Neolithic (Later) unretouched blade, 25mm long, 12mm wide, 3mm thick and 1.3g in weight. Made on a translucent light caramel brown flint this unretouched blade has been struck from the early stages of a blade core. The proximal end is missing, either by breaking during knapping, use or post-depositionally. The dorsal face is mostly cortical apart from a straight and parallel ridge running down the left lateral side of the blade producting a long blade-like flake scar.

Mesolithic flint piercer, 30mm long, 10mm wide, 2mm thick and 0.9g in weight. Made on a very thin blade, the proximal end, in this case, has been abruptly retouched to form a point. The blade was struck from a unidirectional blade core as evidenced by the flake scars on the dorsla face. The flint is a translucent caramel brown that is starting to trun light grey with patination. The proximal end was chosen as the desired end to fashion the piercer because the distal end is too fragile due to cortex.
