Probable Mesolithic to early Bronze Age (8000 - 1000BC) retouched flake: The flint flake is triangular and knapped from a matte mottled light grey flint or chert. The ventral surface does not have a bulb or percussion and conchoidal ripples are not visible. The dorsal surface has a convex surface with abrupt, short, re-touch occurring long one edge. Another edge has two small notches knapped from the dorsal surface.
The flake measures 27.73mm long, 23.3mm wide, 7.52mm thick and weighs 3.68g.
Retouched flakes are difficult to date as they are present throughout prehistory. Thus,…

The ventral surface has a small bulb of percussion, bulbar scar and conchoidal ripples. The dorsal surface has two vertical scars three other smaller scars. The laterial edges feel as if there are serrated, but this is probably due to damage rather than intention.
