Mesolithic to early Neolithic (-8300 to -2900) probable knife or blade: The implement has been knapped from the flint core. The dorsal surface has a central vertical scar and then the lateral edges have a vertical scar also. The distal end is rounded due to retouch on both faces. At this end, on the dorsal surface there is a patch of cortex. The ventral surface has a bulb of percussion, conchoidal ripples and striking platform. A probable knapped flint knife produced from a secondary flake. The dorsal surface has multiple slender vertical scars. The ventral surface has a bulb of percussion, bulbar scars, and concentric ripples. The lateral edges both have fine denticulates which have been re-touched on both the dorsal and ventral surface. The flint is a mottled light brown/grey coloured flint. The knife measures 35.57mm long, 21.38mm wide and 6.45mm thick. It weighs 5.3g.
