Tranchet axehead or adze that is triangular in cross section. The underside has been achieved by a single flake that has a large bulb of percussion at the top. The sides are large, scaled flake removals that formed the overall shape of the piece, in the lower; running around the edge are dense, scaled and right angled flake removals that cover the lower quarter of the sides.
