An incomplete struck flint blade of probable Mesolithic or Neolithic date, c. 8000-3000 BC. Only the mesial section remains, the proximal and distal ends truncated in neat fractures that may have occurred during the blade's detachment from its core. Rectangular in plan and struck from a core of mottled greyish white flint, it retains two dorsal arrises and parallel sides, while the ventral face demonstrates prominent rings of percussion suggesting hard-hammer detachment.
