A complete flint Scraper of Mesolithic date (9000-3450 BC). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface contains three predominant negative scars. All edges have semi-abrupt retouch with the exception of the proximal edge, which is abruptly blunted. The ventral surface is predominantly flat with the exception of a small negative scar at the proximal end. The lithic retain no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake. Length: 22.97mm, Width: 14.49mm, Thickness: 5.06mm, Weight: 1.5g The flint is cream and orange in colour.
