A complete flint Fabricator of Mesolithic date (9,000-3,450 BC). The lithic is lentoid in plan and bi-convex in section. Both the dorsal and ventral surfaces have long scaled flaking with a single negative scar centrally in the mesal portion of both. The proximal and distal ends are tapered and rounded. All edges have semi-abrupt retouch. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake. The flint is grey in colour with dark and light grey inclusions throughout. Length: 87.68mm, Width: 24.54mm, Thickness: 14.03mm, Weight: 32.6g.
