A complete flint Scraper of Mesolithic to Neolithic date (9000-1500 BC). The lithic is sub-rectangular in plan and concavo-convex in section. The dorsal surface is convex and has one central negative scar. All edges have short parallel flaking. All edges have fine semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is slightly concave and has ripples of percussion emanating from a small bulb of percussion situated at the proximal end. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake. The flint is dark grey in colour. Length: 45.67mm, Width: 19.99mm, Thickness: 5.45mm, Weight: 5.3g.

An incomplete perforated stone hammer, or 'mace head' of Mesolithic to Neolithic date (9000-2200 BC). The object was originally been sub-ovate in plan, with a circular perforation with a typical hour glass shape. The upper and lower surfaces are convex, tapering towards a central edge. Approximately 50% of the object is missing due to a transverse fracture across the centre of the object. The retained face of the mace is worn and abraded and looks to have been caused by use rather than by post-depositional wear. The stone is a dark red-brown colour and is probably quartzite. The Br…
