Knapped chert end scraper made on a tertiary flake. There is part of the striking platform at the proximal end and a small bulb of percussion on the ventral face. The percussion has angled in slightly with a hinge at the distal end so the flake thickens and includes the point at the distal end of the core. There are multiple parallel aris running down the dorsal face fram previous blade like removals from the same platform. The sides are chipped, obscuring any retouch. Three pieces of knapped chert debitage. One mid brown, two dark brown/black, all tertiary pieces, one complete and two the distal ends of longer blades. All appear to come from a blade core where regular long, parallel blades have been removed from the same direction. A1 is missing part of the distal end to a snap. A2 ends in a hinge fracture and has a possible area of short, semi-abrupt, scalar retouch along the middle part of the right edge on the ventral face. A3 is complete. Butt end of a chert axe or possibly adze of later Mesolithic to early Neolithic date, 6500-2900 BC. It is oval ion section and has part of an S-shaped curve in profile. The butt is rounded. The tool has been shaped by removal or large scalar flakes around the edge on both sides. Down the centre of one side is a large area of creamy cortex covering c.40% of the face. On the other some flakes have been removed in the centre, adjacent to the break. Proximal end of a Portland chert blade probably dating to the Late Mesolithic (6500-3500 BC). The blade has a prominent bulb of percusison and was formed off a prepared platform. Parallel arises and percussion waves on the dorsal face suggest removal of parallel blades from the core. There are two retouched notches in one side; one by the break worked from the dorsal face and one half way down created from the ventral face.
