An irregular fragment of tertiary debitage - most probably the remains of a Mesolithic core of irregular shape that has been rolled in the ploughsoil. From the images provided it is possible to see the removal of narrow blades in two opposing directions. These platforms are at opposite ends of the debitage. The flint is a dark grey black colour. The flint has been heavily rolled in the ploughsoil; this has resulted in direct damage and irregular removals as well as a general surface abrasion. The core measures 38mm in length, 35mm width, and is 15mm thick.

A near complete flint blade of probable later Mesolithic date (6500BC - 4500BC). The flint tool is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and D shaped in cross section; it has been abraded in the ploughsoil. It is formed on a tertiary flake and there is no cortex present. The bulb of percussion is lost due to a break across the lower half of the blade that has removed the bulb and the striking platform. An abraded tertiary debitage / waste flake of probable later Mesolithic date (6500-4500 BC). The flake has been abraded within the ploughzone resulting in an irregular shape. Originally it was rectangular in form with a distinctive bulbar scar on the ventral face and prepared platform on the distal end. The dorsal face has a central crested ridge. All other removals are modern and the blade has been rolled in the topsoil. The flint is a coarse grained mid- grey black colour consistent with locally utilised chert. The blade measures 20mm length, is 13mm wide.

A near complete snapped chert blade of probable later Mesolithic date (5000BC - 3500BC). The tool is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in cross section. Two abraded tertiary debitage waste flakes struck from a core during the later Mesolithic period (6500-3500 BC). The two blades are broadly a rectangular shape in plan and both have distinctive dorsal crests. In both cases the retouch has been applied to the one surviving original long edge on the dorsal face only; here it creates a crescent shaped removal which is reworked with retouch that is best described as short, sub-parallel and semi-abrupt. Eighteen (18) irregular flint cores used for the production of blades of later Mesolithic date (6500BC - 3500BC). All of the cores are irregular in plan and profile. Ten (10) of the eighteen are true (classic) cores being broadly sub-rectangular or sub-triangular in plan with a series of neat compact scars / blade removals in one or more directions.
