A complete knapped lithic implement of Mesolithic date, c.7000 - 4000 BC. The lithic is a flint microlith formed of a tertiary flake which is sub-rectangular in plan and triangular in section. The ventral surface is smooth and flat. The dorsal surface has a prominent ridge and displays short, parallel, semi-abrupt retouch on the right edge. The flint is light whitish-grey in colour. The implement is 20.5mm long, 6.1mm wide, 2.8mm thick and weighs 0.3g. Microliths are small objects which would have been set into wooden or bone handles to make composite tools such as spears and arrows.

The dorsal surface exhibits three negative flake scars and fine semi-abrupt retouch is present on the left edge. The ventral surface is smooth with faint ripples of percussion visible. The flint is a light grey in colour with cream inclusions throughout. The implement is 23.1mm long, 7.1mm wide, 2mm thick and weighs 0.4g.
