An incomplete teritary debitage flake, of probable Mesolithic to Early Neolithic dating (6500 BC to 3500 BC).
The flake is sub rectangular in shape, and triangular in cross section. A ridge runs the length of the dorsal (upper) surface. The remains of conchoidal ripples are present on the ventral (lower) surface. Controlled retouch is present along the lower edge and can be classified as short, parallel, semi-abrupt.
It measures 30.2 mm in length, 11.8 mm wide and 3.0 mm thick. It weighs 1.1 g.
The flint is an mid brown translucent colour, with no surface patination present.
