An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy casket rotary key (c. 1150-c. 1400). The pointed tip of the stem is missing due to a break. The openwork bow is circular and flat on both faces. It has an outer diameter of c. 10.3mm with the hole measuring 4.8mm in diameter. There is no collar between the bow and stem. The stem is oval in cross-section and solid. An incomplete Medieval sheet copper-alloy book clasp (c. 1350-c. 1500). Howsam type A.8.2. This clasp is formed of a single sheet of copper-alloy folded in half through 180° at the terminal and secured at the attachment end with two copper-alloy rivets, one either side of a grooved aperture. There is a further flat-headed copper-alloy rivet at the centre close to the lobe. The circular lobe adjacent to the terminal is hollow-domed.
