An incomplete and folded Medieval lead alloy pointed-oval seal matrix (1200-1350). The suspension loop is largely missing. The inscription within an outer and inner fine line border is illegible. The central design is also illegible. The rear face is plain and the break at the loop is abraded. This matrix is buff. Length: 37.7mm; width: 21.0mm; thickness: 2.9mm. Weight: 10.47g. When found this matrix was folded through 180°, so that only the die was visible.
