A possibly medieval or post-medieval 1400 to 1700AD copper alloy spoon with a fragment of the bowl remaining and tapering rectangular stem which flattens in profile at the shoulders (just above the bowl). It has a plain stump end. The length is 58mm, the width is 21mm and the weight 14.64g. Brian Read, in Metal Artefacts of Antiquity Vol 1 p91 no709 suggests it may be 15th century or 18th century

Fragment of copper-alloy medieval casket key consisting of the middle section of the shank (broken at both ends) and an intact simple bit, c. 1100 - 1500 AD. The bit end of the shaft is hollow. The key has a dark green patina due to corrosion of the copper-alloy. The length is 68mm, the width is 20mm and the weight 16.75g. There are a number of complete examples of similar keys on the database, including: YORYM - 59AA8A and LVPL - 70A078, the latter of which has been dated to the 14th century.

An incomplete and slightly twisted medieval lead ampulla, dating to the period AD 1350-1530. It is incomplete insofar as the very top of the ampulla appears to have broken off unevenly on one side. There are two suspension loops either to hang around the neck or on the wall of a building. From the neck extends the main body of the ampulla, which is bulbous and D-shaped. Protruding from the back of the head there is a trace of an integral lug which has a trace of the perforation. An incomplete copper alloy shield shaped horse harness pendant of medieval date (AD 1300-1500). The object has a projecting tapered and perforated spur for suspension. The pendant is worn and the decoration is difficult to discern. It could be a stylised animal or floriated design. There appears to be traces of yellow and black enamel. The upper edge of the object has a projecting, integral suspension loop. The reverse of the object is undecorated. The metal is light green in colour with a slightly pitted patina. Silver penny of Stephen I a rare variant. Recorded by Dr Martin Allen at the Fitzswilliam museum on the EMC database as EMC 2017-0216. Dr Allen states that 'there are only 11 known coins from that die, and it is the first to be recorded on the EMC database. It's a Durham mint, north east variant, moneyer Fobund. TAn incomplete cast copper alloy oval, lipped and notched frame buckle dating to c AD1350 - 1450. It would originally have had a composite plate. The pin, the forks of the spacers and the plates are missing, leaving the stub of the spacer attached to the back of the frame. See Whitehead 2003 p36 no 213. The frame is D shape in cross section, bevelled on the inside under edge. The length is 24mm, the width is 19mm and the weight 2.21g.
