TREASURE CASE NUMBER 2017 T1124. Description: A silver gilt finger ring of medieval date now in two pieces. The finger ring is formed from a silver band which is rectangular in cross section. The hoop, which is now in two pieces, has a smooth interior but a multi-faceted external, formed of rectangular panels with raised edges and with each panel decorated with an incised saltire. The finger ring's bezel is broken and incomplete but is broadly lozenge-shaped in plan.
