The upper surface has a vertical rib and a horizontal wide rib, giving it a zoomorphic appearance. The lower surface is flat and plain. Two fragments of later medieval green glazed pottery. One fragment appears to be part of the base of a jug. This fragment has a sandy, pink fabric and green glaze on only what would have been the interior of the jug. The other fragment is part of a jug handle. The handle is approximately D shaped with a central depression running along its length. The fabric is a similar pink colour. There is a light green glaze at the wider end of the jug handle on its upper surface. Both fragments are abraded.
