A complete silver hammered Irish farthing of Edward I, dating c. 1281-1284. Dublin mint. Obverse; crowned bust facing within beaded triangle, ERA/NG/LIE in spandrels. Reverse; long cross quartering coin, three pellets in each angle, CIVI/TAS/DVB/LINE. The coin is particularly well struck on a circular flan and is relatively unworn. C.f a similar example on PAS, IOW-0DED69.

A complete Medieval Irish silver penny of John (AD 1199-1216), minted by Robert at Dublin. Third ('Rex') Coinage, c. 1207-c. 1211. Spink 6228. Obverse: IOhA/NNES/REX; Crowned facing bust in triangle, hand holding sceptre, rose to right of neck. Reverse: ROBE/RDON/DIVE; Sun above crescent moon, a star in each corner, all within a triangle.
