The fragment is rectangular in plan and possesses three evenly-spaced circular perforations to accommodate rivets. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with a moulded circumferential rib. The terminal extends to a fragmentary circular-section stem which is hollow and filled with lead solder or corrosion products. A patch of white metal coating or tinning or adheres to part of the stem. The object measures 42mm in length, 30mm in width and a maximum of 4mm in thickness.

An incomplete copper-alloy object, possibly a key handle and probably medieval or post-medieval in date. The object comprises a circular loop, which is hemispherical in section. At one end, the loop is decorated with an end knop. At the other, it extends to form a rectangular-section collar, decorated with two bands of marginal grooves. The collar then extends to a hollow circular-section terminal into which something was originally slotted. It measures 27mm in diameter and is 4mm in thickness. It weighs 3.1g.

The plate comprises a rectangular sheet of copper-alloy which has been bent over at one end to secure the frame. Cream textile appears to be sandwiched between the two pieces of plate. At each end of the plate, there is a circular piercing. The one closest to the frame is empty; the other is filled with a circular-section copper-alloy rivet. The frame is rectangular in plan and section and is incomplete. The buckle measures 35mm in length, 15mm in width and 3mm in thickness.
