An incomplete cast lead ampulla of Medieval date. It is pouch shaped in form, incomplete at the mouth end and missing both suspension loops due to old breaks. Both faces of the ampulla have moulded decoration. On one face this comprises a transverse collar at the juncture of neck and body filled with multiple diagonal lines. A cast lead spindle whorl of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. It is oval shaped in section with a large central circular perforation. Both hemispheres have extensive moulded decoration comprising five lozengiform bosses separated by multiple vertical ribs. A prominent circumferential casting seam is visible and indicates that the two halves of the mould were unevenly positioned. Both upper and lower halves of the whorl have moulded decoration comprising continuous zig-zag or /\/\/\/\ motifs.
