An incomplete cast lead ampulla of Medieval date. It is pouch shaped in form, incomplete at the mouth end and missing both suspension loops due to old breaks. Both faces of the ampulla have moulded decoration. On one face this comprises a transverse collar at the juncture of neck and body filled with multiple diagonal lines. A cast lead spindle whorl of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. It is oval shaped in section with a large central circular perforation. Both hemispheres have extensive moulded decoration comprising five lozengiform bosses separated by multiple vertical ribs. A prominent circumferential casting seam is visible and indicates that the two halves of the mould were unevenly positioned. It measures 15.92mm in thickness, 28.33mm in diameter, and 40.39g in weight. This is a spindle whorl of Medieval or later date. A decorated cast lead spindle whorl of probable Medieval date. It is biconical in form with large central circular aperture and prominent moulded circumferential rib. Both upper and lower halves of the whorl have moulded decoration comprising continuous zig-zag or /\/\/\/\ motifs. This whorl measures 18.55mm in diameter, 11.68mm in thickness, 8.03mm in internal diameter, and 13.54g in weight. This is a decorated spindle whorl.
