2 Medieval or post Medieval lead alloy tokens from the same location.Both are circular in form and rectangular in cross section. The smaller one is 18mm in diameter, 2mm thick and weighs 4.24g. It has decoration on one side consisting of a raised cross with two raised chevrons in each quarter. The larger one is 27mm in diameter, 3mm thick and weighs 8.38g. It is decorated on both sides, one has a large relief six petalled flower motif and the other has a W or overlapping chevron with a small circle, positioned just to the right of its upper centre.

Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl, 37mm in diameter and 11mm thick with a weight of 44.56g. The object is circular in form and bi-conical in cross section. It has a central circular hole, 11mm in diameter which forms the central feature of its decoration. This consists of a raised 'lozenge' a rectangle with concave sides. Each corner terminates in a semi-spherical knop and in the centre of each edge there is a small projecting raised line which also terminates in a knop. The whorl conforms to Walton Rogers Form C which she dates to 1100 onwards.

Medieval? copper alloy annular brooch, 23mm in diameter, 3mm thick and weighing 4.75grams. The object consists of a circular cross sectioned plain loop which was found with a partial pin? formed of a D cross sectioned strip that has been twisted around itself and is now incomplete. Presumably this would have terminated in a loop at one end to secure it to the brooch? It is possible that the object had some other, unknwon function.

The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section and has openwork decoration in the form of one small central hole flanked by four large ones . The borders of the four large holes form the curved edges of the object and at the base of each curve is a small triangular insert. The object represents the handle of a large key.

Medieval copper alloy annular brooch, 32mm in diameter, 4mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 10.10g. The object is circular, with a broad band and a flat rectangular cross-section. It has a very short and narrow recess to hold the pin, now missing, and has a Latin inscription in poorly executed black-letter script on one face. The letters are divided into four evenly spaced groups within a well-made incised border which runs just inside either edge. The inscription reads 'ihc naza renus rex' (Jesus of Nazareth King).

The object is in the form of a crowned bust with a rectangular plain section representing the shoulders sitting under a face with a slightly projecting rounded chin. The face is decorated with a simple linear mouth and triangular incised eyes with a rounded projection for a nose in the centre. Above the head is a trianglar crown with five small projections.

Its upper surface has a narrow flat inner section which then drops downwards and outwards to a flat base. Medieval copper alloy annular brooch 27mmm in diameter, 3mm wide and weighing 3.28grams The brooch is circular with a D shaped cross section. The upper surface is decorated with a series of stamped circles running along a central 'ridge'. It has 2 opposing circlular raised settings which contain a white paste liek material. The brooch has a recessed pin fitting which corresponds to a slightly raised and projecting pin rest on teh opposite edge. It is similar to fig 160, object 1309 In Egan and Pritchard, Dress Accessories.

Early Medieval (1000-1200?) copper alloy vessel mount, 27mm long, 24mm wide and 11mm thick with a weight of 15.77grams. The object consists of a fixing mount with a circular back plate and a fixing 'loop' in the form of a clenched fist emerging from it. The handle is circular in cross section and terminates with an animal head at each end. This has raised pointed ears a rounded head with a incised line running from front to back, almond shaped moulded eyes which sit above an outwards sloping muzzle. The object is probably a suspension loop or small handle for a vessel.
