Early Medieval to Post Medieval unidentified object: The body of the object is a ceramic terminal/knop which is circular in section whose upper portion is waisted. The lower portion is decorated with two parallel grooves and the upper portion has feint concentric circles. The base of this knop also has concentric circles as decoration. Around the body of the knop, apparently randomly, there are five small circular stamps with radiating ridges. There are two stamps on the base of the knop. The ceramic material is a bright white colour, is powdery and fine grained.

The sherd consists of a rod handle: Object consists of a dark grey earthenware fabric, with few light inclusions. The style of fabric is suggestive of a Medieval jug type fabric, typically of 13th to 14th Century AD dating.

The rimsherd consists of a local (unsourced) earthenware, with frequent fine rounded quartz and grit inclusions and occasional mica, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD, most likely from a cooking pot vessel.

Five sherds (1 rimsherds, and 4 body sherds) of several different wheel thrown Medieval pottery types.
Two main types are present: Cotswold oolitic limestone cooking pot types (12th to 14th Centuries) and Worcestershire glazed jug types (13th to 15th Centuries).
The vessel types that are probably represented here included glazed jugs. Unglazed cooking pot types are present as well. This is representative of a typical Medieval ceramic assemblage.
The fragments vary in thickness from 6.22mm to 11.4mm. In total they weigh 24.6 grams.
