A pewter dagger or sword pommel fragment. The fragment is from the front of a rounded pommel. It has a flat face and rounded sides. There is a slot at the base where the tang would have fitted. There is some evidence for a similar slot at the top, but the edges are badly damaged and the size cannot be determined. The face of the pommel is decorated with a circular panel with a cross hatched background containing a spotted animal of uncertain species.
