A fragment of a Medieval silver coin; a penny probably of Henry VI (AD 1422 - 1461), uncertain type, minted probably at Calais. The coin is very crumpled and only about half survives. All the edges are broken. The fragment is distorted and worn. It is 14.7mm in length, 9.1mm wide, 0.3mm thick and weighs 0.47g.

An incomplete silver Medieval coin, a penny probably of henru VI, Edwrad IV or Henry VII, dating from AD 1422 - 1509. The legends are illegible. It is from the York mint, (or possibly Durham), with a quatrefoil at centre of the reverse cross and an extra pellet in one of the three visible quarters. The coin is broken, with only about half surviving. The break appears to be fairly recent. It is 14.5mm long, 8.4mm wide and 0.6mm thick. 0.32g.
