A medieval silver groat of Richard III (1483-5), mint: London; obverse initial mark: uncertain (probably Boar's Head 1 or 2); reverse initial mark: Boar's Head 2; North 1679, Spink 2156. Ref: North 1991: 97; Spink 2021: 228.
The coin is clipped and worn in places with a crack visible from the edge towards the centre of the coin in the fourth quarter of the reverse.
