A silver annular brooch that has a semicircular cross-section frame with a constriction to one side to mount the pin. The frame is decorated with four animal heads that are arranged into two set. The first group is bordering the constriction bar with the two heads facing each other and the bar in between. Each head has a raised, square cranium with pellet eyes in the two froward faceted corners and upwardly projecting knop ears above the rear two corners. A small gold annular brooch dating to the 13th-14th century. Circular frame that has a constriction bar on one side for the pin, which is now missing. The frame has a semicircular cross-section, with the flat surface forming the face of the brooch; this surface has been engraved with the inscription + A + G + L+ A. A heavily corroded lead pointed-oval or vesica-shaped seal matrix. The declaration in the centre of the face and the surrounding inscription are obscured by corrosion. Copper alloy book mount. The has been made from a pressed sheet that has a domed centre with hollowed-back, a pierced central circular hole (3mm in diameter) would have held a rivet which is now missing. Lead ampulla that has a circular chamber and long rectangular neck, flanking the neck are two angled handles. The chamber is decorated with raised detailing consisting of, on the obverse, a raised design of a compass-drawn flower of four large pointed petals and four small petals in each angle with details also in relief. The reverse depicts a crown, the lining of which is hatched. The object has a light grey patina.

A heavily corroded copper alloy book clasp. This example is rectangular in plan with two semicircular notches on either side and three V-shaped notches running down the rear edge. The forward edge has a narrowed tab that has been bent around to form a hook. The face is decorated with six square stamps that that have an eight paralleled flowed within and a ring a dog at the rear.    Artefacts such as this have been discovered during excavation in York which dated to the 15th and 16th centuries (Ottaway & Rogers, 2002, 2937-2939)

Copper alloy spoon fragment that retains the stem and the rear part of the bowl. The bowl has slightly angled sides that narrow to the base of the stem suggesting that the bowl may have originally been fig shaped. The stem has a sub-oval cross section that narrows to the tip where there is an acorn shaped terminal.
