A Medieval, gold gem-set gold finger ring. This has a large bezel that is oval in plan with a rounded top red stone mounted in the centre. In profile the bezel is biconical with the lower section possessing a longer and more pointed frame than its upper counterpart. Flanking the sides of the bezel are thin rectangular tabs that led to the hoop. The hoop is highly decorated around its entire length, and consist of firstly a diamond shaped panel with elongated base that is engraved with a cross which flanks the bezel. A heavily corroded copper alloy book clasp. This example is rectangular in plan with an expanded butt; the forward edge has a narrowed tab that has been bent around to form a hook. There is a rivet hole at the front and a second at the rear, the latter still retains its copper alloy rivet, which has a decorated rose shaped head. Artefacts such as this have been discovered during excavation in York which dated to the 15th and 16th centuries (Ottaway & Rogers, 2002, 2937-2939)

Copper alloy buckle with an asymmetrical frame consisting of a rectangular loop that forms the rear of the buckle with a kidney shaped forward frame that has a projecting pin rest in the cent of the forward edge. In the centre is a narrowed strap bar the has two short flanged bars in the centre that act as a constriction for the pin and is flanked recessed projection at either end.

Copper alloy octagonal shaped annular brooch, an inwards projecting crescent with bevelled edges forms each of the four corners of the brooch, joining the tops of the crescents together are four narrow, straight and short bars that have a semi-circular cross section, one of which acts as a constriction for the pin. The shaft of the pin is missing with only about 50% of the annular base remaining that is wrapped around the frame of the brooch.

A Medieval copper alloy harness pendant. The pendant is of the heraldic shield type with projecting suspension loop on top. The coat of arms on the shield has a blue background made from enamel. There is a triple diagonal line running from top left to bottom right and a lion rampant in each of the two halves. It is likely that these are the arms of the Bohun family: Azure, a bend argent cotised or between six lions rampant, although only two lions are shown on this item rather than six.
