A medieval copper-alloy zoomorphic harness mount, dating to c.AD 1100 - 1200. The mount is largely oval in plan and has a raised squared dome in the centre. The central square dome is decorated with a lions head in relief, drop shaped eyes, a rectangular nose and mouth are depicted. The outer border is flat and decorated with radiating lines representing a mane.
