An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy strap end, dating to AD 1250 - 1350. The strap end consists of a single sheet of metal, folded in half and secured with a copper-alloy rivet at the open end. The strap end is undecorated on both sides. The object has possibly retained some fabric or leather and this is visible from the open end. A fragment of Medieval copper-alloy buckle plate, dating to AD 1350 - 1400. The fragment is comprised of an incomplete single rectangular sheet of copper-alloy. There is a single circular attachment hole slightly off centre. The front of the plate is decorated with a framing wavy line along the remaining three complete edges The band and areas of the plate inside it are gilded.The rear of the plate is undecorated. An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy openwork mount, dating to AD 1200 - 1500. The mount is sub-rectangular. In the centre of the mount is an openwork rectangle, on either side, are two open work circular holes, At each of the shorter ends of the mount is an open-sided circular notch. There are small indentations in each of the corners of the mount. There are two circular rivets, one next to each of the notches.The front face of the mount is smooth and polished, the rear face is rougher with faint file marks. A large late medieval egg-shaped sheet metal mount dating to AD 1300 - 1500. The mount is undecorated and has a small attachment hole in the centre which has been formed by pushing through from one side, creating a concavity at the centre of one side and making the [plate convex in the centre of the other side.. A Medieval copper-alloy buckle plate, dating to AD 1350 - 1400. The plate is formed of a single sheet of metal, which is now broken in two, it is rectangular in plan. At fold in the plate is a central sub-rectangular aperture where the pin would have attached to the frame of the missing buckle. At the opposite end is a single small circular cross-sectioned copper-alloy rivet securing the plates together. The plate is undecorated. A probable Medieval copper-alloy harness pendant suspension loop, dating to AD 1300 - 1400. The loop is complete. The head of the loop is sub oval and widens slightly at the base to create a folded plate with a central rectangular aperture. The plate is undecorated. At the rear of the plate is an integral circular sectioned integral rivet, set off centre.At the base the plate is split but the aperture and folded back to create two loops which would have housed an axis bar for the suspension of a separate pendant element. A lead throwing die of an uncertain date, but possibly dating to AD 1200 - 1550 (See Margeson). The die is an irregular cuboid in shape. The six sides are not equal in size and . The small circular recesses forming the dots have been marked in a non-conventional manner and the sides have not been organised in the modern standard 'seven' system, where the total of the holes on opposing sides add up to seven. An incomplete late Medieval copper-alloy button, dating to AD 1400 - 1500. The button is circular, flat and rectangular in cross section. At the rear is an incomplete separately attached rectangular-sectioned shank. The front of the button is decorated with a stamped design of an equal armed cross with five ring and dot motifs, one in each angle of the cross and one in the centre. Around the edge of the button is a moulded concentric band, creating a raised edge. The back is undecorated. There are file marks on the shank. Reference: Read, B (2005) p 11 cf 28.
