Cast lead token, of Medival or Post Medieval date c. 1400-1800. Bifaced, one side bears what appears to be a triquetra motif, the other an incomprehensible design. One one side of the disc is the stub of the casting gate, through it is a key-hole shaped perforation. Diameter 18.2mm, Thickness 1.8mm, Mass 3.13g.

Medieval (c. AD1200-1350) lead seal matrix of unusual crudity. It appears to have been roughly cut from a piece of sheet lead and lacks any handle or fittings. On one face is a lighly incised cross around which is a deeply incised inscription '+ S' RICI/ RVC'.Length 29.9mm, Width 16.3mm, Thickness 3.0mm, Mass, including sleeve, 9.48g. The crudity of this object is striking, and one can only speculate for whom, and why, it was made.

One face bears an oval containing three (or more) lis, the other face bears radiating 'scallop' shell ribbing converging on two concentric, raised rings which may have contained a motif, the nature of which is not visible. Two Medieval or Post Medieval, c AD1400-1550, lead stars, each with eight, curving rays, between two of which are three ribs. The faces of the stars bears traces of red paint. Stars of this type were attached, as decoration, to the ceilings of buildings (Egan, 2005, 69-71). The lack of attachment points or holes suggests that they were simply stuck onto wet plaster. Two fragments of Medieval lead window came. Both are H sectioned, with projecting joint flashes along their edges. the smaller piece is damaged. Within the grooves are traces of a white material likely to have been the mortar or putty that hold the glass quarries in place. The cames were cast in a two part mould, rather than formed in a mill, suggesting a date prior to the 16th century (Biddle, 1990, 96). Cast lead object in the form of a human face of probable Medieval date, c. 1200-1500. The face shows a broad forehead and narrow eyes, the nose is now flattened and the mouth consists of a slit with thin lips. The hair is shown on the top of the head and cropped around the ears. Around the head is a narrow flange the edges of which appear cusped. On the back of the object is a 7.0mm deep, oval hollow.
