Cast, iron buckle and pin. Single-loop, sub-rectangular with rounded front and slightly expanded feet. Slightly recessed strap bar. Bifid front knop, with square notch for pin, which has a transverse ridge.

Roughly oval in section at top. The front is shaped at the top; pointed at centre, concave either side. Knobbed terminal. Iron corrosion within chape, perhaps remains of blade. Corroded, but shape is maintained.
