A Medieval copper alloy buckle with integral forked spacer, probably dating to c. AD 1300-1450. The buckle frame has a single oval loop, with a D-shaped cross section. The outer edge of the loop is expanded into a small point, with two prongs expanding from the opposite edge. A simple wire pin is wrapped around the frame in the space between the prongs. Dimensions: length 44.6mm; width 22.7mm; thickness 4.0mm; weight 6.14g. cf. Egan & Pritchard (2002: 78-80) nos. 322-330, excavated in phases dating to AD 1330-1450.
