Gold annular brooch of medieval date (c. 1200 - 1400AD). The brooch is circular in plan with a D-shaped cross section. The reverse is flat and the upper face in convex. The frame has a constriction for the pin which is clasped around the narrow point. The pin is an elongated triangular shape in plan, with a circular section. The pin has a transverse ridge which is incised with a decorative pattern.
