Description: A complete sheet spherical silver bell, probably dating to the later medieval or early post-medieval period (AD 1450-1600) The bell is sub-oval, or globular, in shape, and appears to be manufactured from two silver sheets hammered into a hemispherical shapes, and joined at the waist. The join is undecorated, and shows signs of having been polished or ground to remove any seam marks.
