An incomplete cast copper-alloy gilt, tinned/silvered champlevé enamelled copper-alloy mount (probably from a harness) dating to the Medieval period, c. 1344-1363. It is circular in plan view, consisting an outer flange and a centrally set boss. Some of the concave flange that forms the outer edge is broken away in old damage. The mount is hollowed on its reverse face with an integral rivet offset from the centre towards the upper edge, the end of which is slightly burred over.
