Rim sherd from medieval ceramic Surrey Whiteware (possibly "Tudor Green") vessel dating to the period c. AD 1300 - 1500. Hard, pale grey fabric with well-sorted fine quartz inclusions and occasional black and red iron-rich compound. Coated in a thick, mottled dark green-yellow lead glaze, slightly crazed.

Incomplete medieval gilded copper alloy mount dating to the period c. AD 1100 - 1300. Circular concavo-convex terminal with a central circular perforation. Projecting from one side is a rectangular bar with traces of moulded ribs and terminating in an old break. Similar in form to NLM-E21B96 which notes parallels form London cited by Helen Geake.

Medieval - post medieval copper alloy double loop buckle dating to the period c. AD 1400 - 1600. A narrowed central strap bar with one intact loop projecting from one side. The frame expands towards the outer edge which is engraved with three radiating grooves. The other loop is largely missing; only two stubs remain. See: Egan & Pritchard, 2002, p. 85, no. 347.

Medieval copper alloy strap fitting from a folding clasp dating to the period c. AD 1270 - 1450. Sheet plate, rounded at one end with two pointed knops and waited towards the front rectangular terminal which has a rectangular bar soldered to it. On the reverse are two integrally cast roved rivets, each with a small washer held in place by roved over ends. See: Egan & Pritchard, 2002, p. 116, fig. 76.

At each end is an expanded oblong terminal, tapering towards the tip. Description: Late medieval to early post-medieval gilded silver finger ring. The bezel is in the form of two clasped hands, the fingers depicted by engraved lines; this is often known as a fede ring. Medieval to early post medieval sewing ring dating to the period c. AD 1400 - 1600. It comprises a conical loop with open top and bottom; the exterior decorated by a circumferential groove running around top and bottom and a spiral of rectangular punched pits across five rows. Egan (2005, p. 8 & 132, fig.126, no.64) discusses a similar sewing ring from Fastolf Place, Southwark which is dated from the late 15th to the early 16th century.

Incomplete medieval to post medieval foot from a cooking vessel such as a posnet or skillet dating to the period c. AD 1300 - 1700. The leg has a worn break at the top, showing a trapezoidal cross-section. The leg is rectangular with an angled out-turned foot with rounded edges. Traces of sooting are visible across the surface. The vessels to which these were attached were usually of a tripod form and were widely used from circa AD 1200-1700 for serving and cooking. Fragment of a lave stone quern of Roman to medieval date (c. AD 43 - 1300). Old breaks on all edges. The grinding surface has a series of radiating grooves engraved across the surface. Uncertain original diameter. This form of lava quern was imported into Britain, probably from Germany, from the Roman period to around the 13th century. They were commonly transported as ballast in unfinished form. It is, therefore, difficult to narrow down a date range.
