The coin is pierced with a 1mm circular hole punched through from the obverse to the reverse. The hole is placed at the 10 o'clock position on the obverse to the inside of the inner circle, which registers on the reverse slightly off-line with the arm of the long cross at the end of the CIVI legend quadrant. AD 1430-1434 Diameter 17.8mm, weight 0.75g.

Description: Fragment of silver finger ring consisting of the bezel, one shoulder and part of the hoop. The bezel has a square base with a solid dome set on top. This has worn decoration showing that it was intended as an animal head, with centrally dotted relief circles for eyes and short rounded ears above. To one side of the bezel is a patinated but still granular break.
