An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval (c.AD 1250-1400) D-shaped buckle with narrowed offset strap bar.
Description: The buckle is small, with thin bars of which the strap bar is offset. At the opposite end of the frame the loop is swollen with four incised grooves creating ribbed decoration. The decoration wraps the outside edge of the frame. The buckle pin is incomplete but formed from wire wrapped round the bar.. The back of the buckle is flat. The colour of the buckle is a mid grey-green and it is mostly in good condition with only minimal warping.

A hardly worn Medieval silver short cross cut quarter penny (farthing) probably of John (1199-1216), Minted at Norwich by Gifrei, c.1204-1209. Class 5bii, North (1994) no.970.

A heavily worn, clipped and pierced later Medieval silver penny probably dating to the reign of Edward IV (1461-1470 and 1471-1483). Possibly Durham mint issue of Edward IV first reign 1461-1470 heavy coinage (1461-1463) class IV with 'rose' at centre of the reverse? North (1991) No 1544.
