Two fragments of Late Medieval/ Early Post-Medieval (1450-1600) Cistercian ware: 41.98x27.56x3.73mm, 5.61g and 36.41x23.21x3.97mm, 4.66g. The fabric is reddy-purple in colour and the glaze, on both sides of the sherds, is a metallic black.

A fragment of Medieval/ Post-Medieval (1200-1800) glazed probable roofing tile, measuring 56.15x39.12x11.35mm and weighing 32.95g. The earthenware fabric has largish possibly grog inclusions. The glazing is orangey-green in colour and mostly apparent on one face only. On the other side is a curve of glazing, possibly suggesting a kiln spacer (around a circular vessel).

A rim sherd of Medieval (1200-1500) glazed grey earthenware with traces of a green glaze on both inside and outside surfaces. The rim has an internal lip and external (double-moulding) cordon. It measures 48.82x23.98x15.98mm and weighs 19.09g. Teresa Gilmore, Staffordshire & West Midlands Finds Liaison Officer, comments: 'The rim type is fine for a Medieval jug or bowl (latter more likely), and it is probably 13th to 15th century in date. Sixty-two Medieval earthenware sherds of a pinky-buff gritty fabric, from a rounded jar with a very slight basal angle, diameter probably in excess of 300mm. The jar would have had two looped handles springing from the rim; there are three small fragments of one of these handles present. The sherds collectively weigh 460.56g. Found with WILT-65AEB1, WILT-65C544 and WILT-65D891, the group as a whole is likely to date from the 12th century, with the outside date range of the late 11th to very early 13th century.

One hundred Medieval earthenware sherds of a grey to buff smooth fabric with micaceous grits. They are a type B incurved dish (see Salisbury Museum Medieval Catalogue 3, p.147). This form is thought to be some form of strainer, having a broad flat base c.320mm. diameter and in this case at least two side perforations. The sherds collectively weigh 794.83g. Found with WILT-657BB2, WILT-65C544 and WILT-65D891, the group as a whole is likely to date from the 12th century, with the outside date range of the late 11th to very early 13th century.
