Fragment of copper alloy medieval strap-end, consisting of part of the upper (decorated) plate only. It measures 25.2x(max)21.4mm and weighs 2.68g. The open end has a circular aperture at the centre and two in situ rivets either side. On the reverse there is much corrosion around these. The strap end narrows to a recent-ish break 16.2mm in width. The fragment is decorated with a groove running along the centre of the strap-end. Medieval copper alloy drop handle and handle lug. The handle is heart-shaped and measures 49x(max)57xc.4.5mm. The handle lug measures 23x(max)15.2x9.1mm. The length of both objects linked together is 60.5mm and it weighs 36.32g. The drop handle is covered in diagonal tooling marks and is roughly square in section, although the outside edges are slightly (and roughly) faceted. Incomplete late medieval copper alloy locking buckle, missing its locking arm and tongue tip. The frame measures 28.6x17mm (internal 9.1x13.1mm), and inclusive of remains of broken arm, it is 21.3mm wide. The incomplete buckle weighs 8.16g. The rotating axis bar, one end of which extends into the locking arm, is set two thirds from the front/ outside edge of the buckle (where the notch for the pin is). Incomplete probably medieval copper alloy cruciform mount, measuring 21.9x24.7x2.2mm and weighing 4.15g. The mount is in the form of a cross with each arm ending in a point that has been pierced. Only one of these terminals survives (the others are broken across at the piercing) and this has a piercing of diameter 1.8mm. Between each arm teminal is an area with curved edge, again pierced and c.2mm in diameter. A groove delineates the arms of the cross and also cuts transversely across each arm to create a smaller corss at the centre.

The pendant is in the shape of a quatrefoil with a diamond at its centre and each foil extending from the straight side of the diamond. An additional round knop extends from each point. The diamond measures 14.4x14.9mm and depicts a crowned head on a background of red enamel. The mount has an integral rivet to the reverse, square in section (3x3.2mm) and 6mm long. The mount has a slightly curved top and is 8.7mm wide. This narrows over 11.5mm to 6.7mm wide where it is separated from the arms holding the axis bar (8.3mm wide) by a 1.5mm wide rib. Iron staining on the arms suggests an iron axis bar. Medieval copper alloy probable harness mount, square in shape with a pierced projection. This has probably been broken in antiquity as has the opposite face of the mount, although this is not certain as the metal has been stripped and removed traces. The mount measures 12.8x20.6x1.7mm and weighs 1.75g. The piercing is 3mm in diameter. It depicts a dog walking right and facing forwards within a circle, within a square. In each corner is a lis. A hook, another similar projection or arms for a harness pendant may have originally extended from the mount. 13th/ 14th century.

Late Medieval copper alloy buckle frame with central bar and loops of different shapes, missing its pin and with a broken central bar. It measures 22.2x23.3mm and weighs 3.10g. The outer-most loop is oval (23.3mm high) with a notch on the outside edge for the pin to rest on. The internal dimensions are 10.4x19mm. The central bar is narrowed at the centre for the pin and has broken at this point. The other loop is rectangular and 15.6mm high. Its internal dimensions are 5.2x11.9mm Cf. Egan & Pritchard, 1991, no.472. This is dated to the first half of the 15th century.
