Medieval copper alloy double oval buckle frame with damaged axis bar and missing its pin. there is a projection from the frame at either end of the axis bar. It is 35mm in length and 25mm wide. The internal dimensions of each loop is c. 12x17.5mm. The buckle weighs 5.91g. Similar examples in Egan's Dress Accessories, 1991, are dated from 1270-1400.

Late medieval/ post medieval copper alloy tinned mount (much of the tinning is missing) in the form of a flower with six roundel-petals around a central roundel. The reverse is slightly hollowed except for a thick rim around the edge. On the reverse at the centre is the stump of an integral 1.5mm diameter attachment spike. Measures 17x16x4mm and weighs 2.85g.

Medieval copper alloy buckle with narrowed and offset bar and missing its pin. The outside edge is thickened and circular in section. It measures 14x19x(max)6mm and weighs 3.29g. The frame is trapezoidal in shape. The outside edge meets in a point at the outside while on the inside curves inwards then outwards then inwards again. Along with both arms, the outside edge is decorated with horizontal lines, but not on the underside. Probably 13th century.

Fragment of medieval copper alloy and niello purse bar, with almost all original patina missing, and only a small patch of niello surviving in the criss-cross decoration. The fragment appears to be an arm, bent in an S-shape, narrowing to a broken loop (presumably which would have been at the centre), the other end broken also broken. Two rectangular projections extend downwards. They are not pierced for the attachment of the purse, although curl underneath and may have been damaged and broken in ancient times. It is 26.3mm wide with a 13.7mm wide hook projecting from one end (which curls and narrows to 11.5mm wide) while the other end has four tiny triangles but into it at equal distances to give a crenellated effect. Just before this ornate edging is a 2mm diameter rivet hole with iron staining around it. At either end of the loop is a rectangular area, one 10.2x6.8mm, the other 11.4x6.0mm. Both have 2.4mm diameter piercings, that on the latter rectangle is off centre. Measures 19.6mm in length and weighs 1.07g. 12th-14th century.

Medieval copper alloy shield-shaped plate with rectangular bar-mount mounted on a single central rivet (and rove) at attachment edge. There is a slight notch in each side of the plate creating a triangular projection on either side just below the bar. The inside edge is rounded with a central pointed projection, behind which is a rivet (comeplate with rove). Measures 14.7x15.1mm. Bar mount measures 15.1x4.8x2.0mm. The bar mount is crescentic in section and stepped on both long edges. Strap end weighs 0.93g. Dates to second half of the 14th century. Cf Egan (1991) nos.732, 737, 738.
