A Late Medieval silver Groat of Edward IV (First reign, light coinage), measuring 23-24mm in diameter and weighing 2.81 (43.2gn). Parts are weakly struck, it has slight wear and is clipped. Mint: Bristol Ref: North 1580 This is one of a hoard of 54 coins (26 groats and 28 pennies) ranging from the reigns of Edward I to Edward IV, although most are from the reigns of Henry VI and Edward IV.
