At the centre of the matrix is a, somewhat crude, lamb and flag around which is the inscription *AGNUS DEI. A beaded border bounds top and bottom of the inscription. Medieval copper alloy pointed oval seal matrix with integral loop on the reverse. It measures 26.1x17.3x3.7mm and weighs 6.27g. At the centre is an eight-pointed star, the arms of which are elongated oval in shape. The two vertical arms are the widest. A groove surrounds this. Very crude lead alloy seal matrix, medieval in date, probably c.13th/ 14th century in date. The seal matrix is circular in shape (diameter c.32mm) and 6mm thick with a rough line running around the circumference, perhaps suggesting the inscribed surface was a top layer added to the matrix. The seal matrix is squashed to one side. On the reverse an oval section shank (roughly 8x7mm) extends 25mm and is pushed over to one side, the side of the seal matrix that is squashed.
