Incomplete copper alloy 11th-12th century buckle frame, consisting of about half of the outside edge and missing the axis bar. It is 21mm long and 16mm wide (estimated original width 32mm, axis bar c.12mm). It weighs 4.70g. At the break, the outside edge is 11mm wide and sloping downwards and outwards. At the corner where it turns towards the join with the axis bar, it is 10mm wide, narrowing to 5mm at the join. Fragment of a medieval copper alloy processional cross, comprising a heavily cast and crudely engraved robed figurine of the Virgin, standing on a rectangular-sectioned flaring plinth with ribbed mouldings, and with a fragment of the flat-sectioned supporting arm at the base.
