MED Silvered cruciform fitting, part of ?horse harness strap fitting, cast cross pommé with square central boss and short integral rivet projecting from base and slightly burred-over, central boss has engraved lozengiform cross-hatching. May once have stood upright and rotated in a socket between strap-loops or perhaps a more elaborate arrangement, Cf. Cherry (1991) 25, fig.2 no.12 and Ward Perkins (1949) 5, fig.3.
